ABSTRACT

This study examined the efficacy of a non-medical procedure for management of idiopathic Raynaud’s disease. Individuals with Raynaud’s disease and normal individuals were given 27 ten-minute simultaneous pairings of hand immersion in warm water (43°C) with a whole-body cold exposure (0°C). One group of normal and one group of subjects with Raynaud’s disease received no treatments. Before and after cold test exposures (0°C) were given to all subjects.
